Emiliano López Atxurra, on behalf of Petronor, was unanimously elected Chairman of TECNALIA by the Board of Trustees yesterday in Donostia-San Sebastián. He takes over from Javier Ormazabal, at the helm of the centre since 2010.
In his appointment, López Atxurra declared that “we are living intense times. It is good to recognise our past, take a firm stand and look to the future with passion to survive in these times. I take on my role as Chairman from the standpoint of our philosophy and world-view and our commitment to the future”.
He also stated that “TECNALIA has the structure to be an agent to reckon with in the European technological and industrial renaissance and become the spearhead of the Spanish technological-industrial environment.
