ERTICO held its annual Activity Development Workshop on the 4 and 5 July with great success. More than 100 participants were present for the 2-day discussion on the potentially interesting Calls on the four Focus Areas that the ERTICO partnership works on: Clean & Urban Mobility, Transport and Logistics and Connected and Automated Driving.
The Calls were given a general presentation per Focus Area and after each set of Calls presentations by the ERTICO team, partners had the opportunity to pitch for their ‘own’ proposal, asking other partners to join the proposal that they wish to lead.
The partners’ pitches were followed by table discussions (1 table per Call), where partners discussed, exchanged ideas and proposed concepts and solutions answering the set objectives of the Calls facilitated by the ERTICO team.
However, it was not only H2020 Calls that were presented; other funding lines such as CEF, Shift2Rail, ECSEL and INTERREG were also presented by the ERTICO team to the partners as interesting alternative funds do indeed exist for ideas and innovation taking place in the partnership.
During the summer, proposals and concepts will become more concrete, during bilateral discussions and webinars organised by the ERTICO office. The aim is to have the core teams and the consortia identified by October, as well as the core team drafting the proposals, with members and ERTICO office contributing with text and expertise.
