This event is organised jointly by the European Commission and the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, within the programme of activities of the Italian Presidency of the EU.
The Conference brings together the key players in the field of transport safety and experts in the corresponding research domains: stakeholders, policy makers and researchers joining forces for a safer transport system.
The objectives:
- to raise the profile of transport safety research in Europe,
- to identify research and innovation needs and future priorities,
- to improve safety throughout the European transport system,
- to contribute to achieve the “vision zero” EU target.
