In this webinar we will engage in a dialogue with international experts that are leading the development of CAD validation methodologies from the theory to the practice in different national and international research projects. These experts will present and discuss how these methodologies deal with the main test instances used today (simulation, proving ground testing and open road trials) and how they reconcile other side technologies that are critical for CAVs (e.g. positioning, communications and cybersecurity) in order to answer the needs of different stakeholders (developers, consumer testing, regulators, etc..). In particular, we will focus in HEADSTART, a main project funded by the European Union for the validation of Connected and Automated driving, and will show how it is progressing in the development of a harmonised European level solution that takes into account AD, its Key Enabling Technologies and its most relevant users.
