Ford has introduced a new accessory for its vehicles: the SmartLink. This new feature allows non-connected vehicles to communicate with each other; by plugging the SmartLink device into an on-board diagnostic port, the car is able to connect to a mobile application thanks to which users can lock, unlock and start their cars. The device works with any Ford car produced between 2010 and 2017.
