The coastal city of Gdańsk in Poland has introduced new buses onto its roads to improve the overall standard of its public transport fleet.
City public transport operator ZKM Gdansk purchased 21 Mercedes-Benz buses, all of which meet Euro 6 emissions standards, and which include regenerative braking systems that recover energy.
Nine of the buses are 18 metres long, nine are 12 metres long and three reach 10 metres. The vehicles have low floors, air conditioning and have internal and external monitoring systems.
