Earlier this month, HERE Technologies announced that it powers HERNAV, the driver application from Hermes Germany, one of the leading logistics service providers in Germany and partners to numerous international online shops and multi-channel distributors in Germany and abroad. Introduced in late 2022, HERNAV comes with automotive-grade maps, real-time traffic, geocoding and navigation software from HERE through seamless integration of the HERE Software Development Kit (SDK).
In Germany today, HERNAV is used by more than 10,500 delivery drivers working for Hermes Germany. With HERE’s maps and services, HERNAV offers drivers a highly accurate navigation solution with vehicle-specific routing. Optimized suggestions for multi-stop routes increase tour efficiency, leading to more sustainable and reliable deliveries. In addition, the unique offline capabilities of the HERE SDK allow drivers to rely on HERNAV to complete their deliveries.
