SAFE STRIP was presented at the Global Information Infrastructure and Networking Symposium (GIIS 2018) which took place from 23-25 October 2018 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Prof. Sotiris Nikoletseas, The Computer Technology Institute and Press (CTI), was invited in order to present the most cutting edge technologies and both the current research activities and the future trends. In his keynote presentation he mentioned SAFE STRIP revolutionary low cost road marking technology for existing infrastructure.
Ioannis Katsidimas, CTI also presented a high quality technical paper including an acknowledgement on SAFE STRIP entitled “Radiation Aware Mobility Paths in Wirelessly Powered Communication Networks”. The paper has been writtten by CTI partners Ioannis Katsidimas, Emmanouil Kerimakis and Sotiris Nikoletseas.

After the successful organization of the IEEE 5G Summit in 2017 and the ICT conference in 2016, beautiful Thessaloniki is hosting the Global Information Infrastructure and Networking Symposium (GIIS) this Fall. GIIS 2018 aims at providing a forum for the participants to broaden professional contacts and for technical discussions and interactions on specific information infrastructure and networking topics.
