Monday 16 June – the Opening Ceremony

Registered participants are welcome to attend the Opening Ceremony at 15:00 in the Conference Centre.

The Opening Ceremony will be followed by the ITS in your pocket App Award Ceremony, the first Plenary (“Open Data enabling new mobility apps”) and the exhibition Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. After the ceremonials, special trams will take delegates to the Helsinki City Hall for the traditional Welcome Reception.

During the whole day, the European project iMobility Challenge will run an eco-driving competition. A professional racing driver will set a score based on his eco-driving abilities that, during the all length of the Congress, participants will attempt to beat.

Tuesday 17 June – the policymakers

The second day of the Congress will begin with the Plenary session “Enabling wider markets for mobility as a service” and will continue with 4 Executive sessions after the lunch break for the whole afternoon.

Tuesday will also be the policymakers day hosting the second Ministerial Roundtable organised at 11:00 immediately after the second Plenary.

Finally, dig more deeply into selected subjects by hopping from a Special Interest Session to a Technical and Scientific Session and of course come to discover the new Commercial Theatre Sessions in the Exhibition area.

Wednesday 18 June – the White Night

To continue the discussion in a more relaxed environment, join the ITS community at the Cable Factory (Kaapelitehdas) for a (late) Finnish White Night which will give you a different taste of Finland, live music and some unforgettable surprises.
