ITS Congresses
As one of the World’s largest events and exhibitions in Intelligent Transport Systems and Services, the European ITS Congresses attract over 2,000 ITS professionals from over 50 countries, with the World ITS Congresses attracting over 10,000 delegates from over 90 countries. The Congresses include conference sessions, exhibitions, live demonstrations, ancillary events and much more. Delegates include decision makers, policy makers and transport experts from government, research and industry.
Workshop Objectives
The format of the ITS Congresses workshop at TRA2014 will include presentations by the Organisers and European/International Programme Committee members to introduce the World Congresses in Detroit in September 2014 and Bordeaux in October 2015, and the European Congress in Helsinki in June 2014. The main themes, general conference topics and demonstration opportunities will be presented. By linking TRA2014 and the ITS Congresses this event is a perfect opportunity for TRA delegates to share their views on priorities for future research on ITS. The workshop outcomes will be exploited by the ITS Congress International Programme Committee for the preparation of the Congress conferences and demonstrations.
