Hear, see and have your say about the many achievements of the project to date in the multiple opportunities provided by the coming European ITS Congress (6-9 June 2011, Lyon, France)!

No less than three special sessions in the conference are touching eCoMove areas of research (i.e. eco-driving, eco traffic management and impact assessment of ITS measures on energy efficiency and CO2 emissions reduction) and the project will present its plans and results in relation.

Four papers on namely the user surveys carried out in the project and the identified transport inefficiencies that form the basis of the project work on use cases definition, will be presented in the technical sessions. See the detailed schedule here.

 

In addition, some eCoMove application scenarios will be shown on a driving simulator in the exhibition part of the congress, where you can also meet several of our partners, namely ASFA, BMW, CRF, Continental, Logica, Navteq, Peek, PTV, Q-Free, TNO, TomTom and Volvo.

 

Last but not least, eCoMove is organising a green driving debate on 8 June 2011, at the end of the conference programme for the day (17:30), in the exhibition area, which can be accessed free of charge. Green (literaly!) refreshments will be served. Come and reflect with our panellists on the various topics in relation, including the technology aspects, motivators, the role of member states, distinctions private/professional vehicles, electric vehicles specifics and HMI questions.
