ITS Observatory live platform: www.itsobservatory.info
- Find ITS Observatory at the ERTICO stand in the exhibition area (booth C12)
Visit the ITS Observatory kiosk on the ERTICO stand, and meet the project team. You will learn first-hand how to use Europe’s first self-service ITS knowledge-base for the benefit of you and your organisation. See how easy it is to register, to upload your ITS content and to share data with the ITS online community.
- Make ITS Observatory your knowledge centre: feed it, and learn from it…
At the Strasbourg Congress, “ITS our Observers” will scan the Congress sessions and exhibition to find the most interesting ITS news and insights, and to recruit the top ITS organisations and experts to join the online community. They will be signing up new members on the spot, and helping them present their business, highlight their ITS deployment, and promote their products & services in the platform. All registered members can take an active part in the online ITS Community, posting questions or requests, and starting or entering an ongoing discussion.

- Special Interest Session 12 Knowledge Management in action – Preserving What We Know and What We’ll Learn
Meeting room Amsterdam, 20 June 2017, 11h00-12h30
Today’s transportation leadership is faced with squeezing the most of limited resources, fixing aging infrastructure, deploying transformational technologies for Smart Cities and ITS, and dealing with a massive brain drain cause by large employee turnover. Some transportation leaders are finding that these issues and more can be helped by deploying knowledge management programs. This session will look at how to develop a knowledge management program, challenges and opportunities, and lessons learned from deployments.
Paul Kompfner, ITS Observatory Project Coordinator and Senior Adviser Urban Mobility & Mobility as a Service, will present the “ITS Observatory – a new approach for ITS knowledge”.
