Join ERTICO and MaaS Alliance in this side event on Thursday 24 May from 12:30 to 14:00 to discuss if and how blockchain is able to ensure the security and safety of the processes and supply chains involved in mobility and transport and how to facilitate various industry solutions. The session will be moderated by Mrs Katja Schechtner, OECD / MIT.

During this three-day event, come and visit us at the ERTICO stand, number 19. Here you can find out more about our activities in smart mobility, focusing on public authorities. This includes our Projects and Platforms MaaS Alliance, I_HeERO and CAPITAL.  Don’t miss the chance to learn about our upcoming ITS World Congress in Copenhagen, also present at the stand.

Interested in transport and logistics? Mark your calendars for this presentation on AEOLIX , the data sharing network for logistics. This will be presented by Sophie Punte, Executive Director at Smart Freight Centre, on Wednesday 23 May from 11:00 to 11:30 in the Open Stage Café.

The ERTICO and MaaS Alliance side event will provide the chance to discuss on an extremely interesting topic with the high-level delegates attending the 2018 ITF Summit.

Over the last few years, there have been a number of attacks targeting transport systems, and in particular connected cars. An attack on a connected transport network would threaten the safety and privacy of passengers and goods. Also innovative transport services and integrated mobility solutions such as Mobility as a Service (MaaS) are exposed to threats of hacking. Blockchain is one but not the only solution that offers to protect the supply chain and facilitate the flow of transport services and the mobility of people and goods by enabling the establishment of trusted networks.

Benefits and use cases of blockchain-based systems are worth assessing in the context of transport and logistics as well as in integrated mobility solutions such as MaaS.

So, join us at ITF in Leipzig! All participants have to be registered for the ITF 2018 Summit: https://2018.itf-oecd.org/registration
