The ITS4Climate Congress is dedicated to Intelligent Transport Systems as designed to combat climate change. Organised by ERTICO Partner TOPOS and held in “Cite Mondiale “, Bordeaux, 200 mobility and climate professionals are expected to attend ITS4Climate for two days of conferences and technical workshops, one day of field visits, one Exhibition Village and concluding with 8’h Nouvelle-Aquitaine Electric Rally Tour, a challenge pitting electric vehicles against each other in eco -driving.
The ITS4Climate European Congress positions itself specifically as an international catalyst for solutions, aiming to bring a convergence of reductions in carbon emissions and technological innovations in the sphere of mobility.
More than 50 experts in transport and climate, suppliers and service providers, international business executives and government officials will meet to evaluate the role of ITS in the decarbonisation of transport, among which:

Nouvelle-Aquitaine, a pioneering region
Since the ITS World Congress in 2015, ERTICO Partner TOPOS-Digital Aquitaine has been organising the community of Intelligent Mo bility and satellite application actors and contributing to the No uvelle-Aquitaine Region being a pioneer in these areas.
Field visits to various Bordeaux companies trailblazing in ITS
On 19 September, congress delegates are invited to take part in field visits to companies blazing a trailin ITS, such as: Gertrude, Gazelle Tech, Qucit, Simo b and the incubator, Bordeaux Technowest.
This will be your opportunity to learn more about smart transport and mobility solutions, allowing reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
Emerging from this Congress are advance contributions to COP25
Expert s’ work and opinions arising from these three days will bring about a series of firm recommendations, with a view to offering government s effective tools in reducing greenhouse gases and to info rm debate at the upcoming COP 25.
This Congress is organised by TOPOS – DigitalAquitaine and supported by SloCaT, French Mobility, the French Ministry of Transport, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, ATEC- ITS, CEREMA and the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).
