The Lithuanian city of Klaipėda is introducing a range of initiatives to encourage citizens to adopt more sustainable forms of transport in their daily lives. The plans include installing five charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) and the purchase of two EVs.

The city is also launching a bike-sharing system, similar to the one functioning in Vilnius, and creating original bicycle racks that will be installed in 22 schools.
