Vasco Mora
City of Lisbon
Vasco Mora is passionate about improving City’s quality of life by fostering innovation and new technological opportunities in urban mobility. As an Adviser for the Lisbon’s Deputy Mayor for Mobility and Safety, he focuses his activity in managing urban data, facilitating multiplayer service integration, developing public-private partnerships and frameworks and specifying desired functionalities for public tender processes. He started his career as a private consultant in three different companies before integrating EMEL – Lisbon’s Mobility and Parking Company. As a background, Vasco is a Civil Engineer with two post-graduations, one in Transportation (a.k.a. Mobility) and another in Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management.
Charis Chalkiadakis
Centre for Research and Technology Hellas – Hellenic Institute of Transport
Charis Chalkiadakis is a Rural and Surveying Engineer of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). He works as a Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH – HIT) since 2017 and he is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.) since 2018. He has participated in various transport-related projects funded both from European and National funding mechanisms. He has also participated, as an author, in the writing of scientific papers in the fields of Intelligent Transport Systems, Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems, and Transport Networks’ Resilience. His research interests and expertise include, among others, Intelligent Transport Systems, Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems, Resilience of the transport systems, Data Collection and Analysis, Transport Planning, Traffic Modelling, and Transport economics.
