ERTICO has long recognised the importance of start-ups for innovation and its own Start-up Initiative that promotes matchmaking activities between start-ups and the ERTICO Partnership began last year.
So ERTICO is delighted to support the European Startup prize and its recent activity the ‘Top 50 startups’. Following weeks of rigorous scrutiny by 50 evaluators, the EUSP team shortened the original list to top 50 performers. This list gives an overview of the future of mobility, bringing together Europe’s best startups from throughout the mobility sector and who hold the promise for new, green, connected inclusive, and sustainable technology.
The goal of the EUSP is to speed up and support their growth so this year the Prize will support the entire top 50 community through the Day After Programme. These startups now become part of a dedicated reinvestment programme, channelling European public and private funds, in order to help them recover from the social and economic crisis. They will be invited to present at a Demo Day in front of institutional and private investors, and take part in a joint manifesto of the community to EU decision makers. Finally, the top 50 will receive 1 million map API, courtesy of this year’s EUSP partner, TomTom.
