On 9 to 11 December TISA and ERTICO organised a second TPEG Testfest in Munich at the IRT – Institut für Rundfunktechnik premises. The Testfest was the opportunity to test major TPEG applications such as SNI,TEC and TFP and it resulted in a very successful event with 17 organisations and 33 participants in total.

TISA Members participating included Amaryllo, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Be-Mobile, bmt, Elektrobit Automotive GmbH, Fraunhofer IIS, Garmin, GEWI, HERE (NAVTEQ B.V.), Institute for Information Industry – Taiwan, IRT, Kenwood Electronics Deutschland GmbH, Mediamobile, NNG, Panasonic Automotive Systems, STA, and TomTom Development Germany GmbH.

This time, differently from the first Testfest in 2011, each session schedule was reduced to 1 and half hour to allow more pre-arranged pairings. Over 38 pairing sessions were executed and 207 test were run with the last session not being pre-assigned but open to the choice of participants who decided who they wanted to pair with. This year, testing sessions included OpenLR and interoperability validation for safety related messages defined by TISA.

The TPEG Testfest is a joint initiative of TISA and ERTICO and it is open to TISA Member only.
