The European Commission has opened the 2014 Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) Award, which recognises the outstanding work of cities and local authorities across Europe to meet the transport needs of their communities in an effective and sustainable way.
Now in its third year, the award presents the winning region or local authority with a prize of € 10 000 and gives an opportunity for them to gain international recognition for their initiatives.
