The Awards highlight the very best sustainable energy projects taking place across Europe today, recognising their efforts and achievements and showcasing them as best-in-class practices.
This helps to boost replication and inspire new alliances in support of the EU’s energy and climate objectives.
Winners will be announced in a ceremony to take place in Brussels (Belgium) during Sustainable Energy Week 2015.
For this 9th edition, the Awards include three categories:
Renewable energyEnergy efficiencyCities, communities and regions
All eligible private companies, public authorities, energy agencies, NGOs, co-operatives, chambers of commerce, industry and consumers associations, media, academic institutions and research and technological centres (excluding studies and theoretical research projects without any long-term, real-scale implementation directly linked to renewable energy or energy efficiency) can participate.
