Toyota has recently showcased its new autonomous vehicle, the e-Pallet, at CES, the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace, which is taking place this month in Las Vegas, USA.

According to the Japanese automotive manufacturer, what makes this vehicle special is its design flexibility: it can be used for a variety of applications, from ride sharing, cargo delivery, mobile hotel rooms and work spaces. The vehicle’s interiors can be customized based on the user’s needs and will be made available in three sizes, allowing right-sized and right-place mobile solutions.

The aim is to sell this vehicle to new partners in a multitude of different industries.

The vehicle will be tested on roads in various regions in the early 2020.
