Demeure, the Canadian platform-as-a-service provider, has bought UK-based B2B vacation rental platform IAVRA and will add it to its newly branded Metamarketplace network of buyers and sellers.

No terms of the deal were disclosed.

IAVRA (TLabs here) is a database of more than 8,000 vacation rental properties which are made available to more than 2,000 travel agents and concierge services.

It will be connected with the Metamarketplace’s network of 5,000+ other properties to create “travel marketplaces that connect certified accommodation to previously unreachable channels of demand,” according to IAVRA founding partner JC Moquette.

Metamarketplace sees itself a travel technology company and uses a patent-pending platform to link up B2B buyers and sellers.

In December 2012, Demeure launched its own marketplace for rental owners.
