The FABRIC project, which addresses the technological feasibility, economic viability and socio-environmental impact of dynamic on-road charging of electric vehicles, will showcase its results at a Final Event and Demonstration in Italy on 21 and 22 June 2018.
FABRIC has developed and tested different wireless charging technologies for vehicles at two main test sites in Italy and France. It included several feasibility studies, which also used results from associated projects which tested technologies in Sweden and Spain.
This major EU FP7-funded electro-mobility research project is coordinated by ICCS and involves 23 partners, including the ERTICO office and several ERTICO Partners.
The event will take place at Politecnico di Torino on the first day (21 June) and at the FABRIC test site near Susa (1 hour from Turin) on the second day. Transport to the Susa test site will be provided, as well as return transport both to Turin city and the airport. Participation is free but registration is required.
Visit the project website at www.fabric-project.eu and go to “News and Events” then “Final Event” for more details, including the agenda and registration.
