Today the is the day of the official opening of the 20th ITS World Congress in Tokyo.
The day started with a high-level meeting with govermental officials and representatives from international organisations around the world.
Then, this afternoon the Congress opening ceremony was held in the Tokyo Big Sight, with speakers from all three regions co-organising the ITS World Congress. A special treat was provided to the audience when a performance group gave a taste of the Japanese culture.
