What is it?
The 24 hours of innovation student competition will host ITS students working together in teams to develop creative and innovative ITS solutions, products and services, new usages, creative marketing or communication plans, non-stop over 24 hours. The student competition provides an excellent opportunity for ITS students to showcase their skills to future ITS employers.
ITS companies will propose the ITS topics that students will focus on during the competition. The topics will be unveiled at the beginning of the competition on Thursday 8 October in the amphitheatre of Digital Campus Bordeaux, in front of the student audience. Once all topics have been presented, students will choose their preferred topic and be separated into teams. Each team will have a coach, who will help guide the students during the challenge.
On the morning of Friday 9 October, after 24 hours of teamwork and development, the teams will each give a 3 minute presentation of their results to a jury of ITS professionals. The jury will debate to decide the winning teams which will be awarded prizes by the supporters of the event at the World Congress Closing Ceremony. Transport will be provided to the students from the Digital Campus Bordeaux to the ITS World Congress Closing Ceremony.
Catering will be available on site, as well as a breakout area for student to network with each other during breaks. Entertainment will be provided during breaks.
The 24 hours of innovation student competition is co-organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe and the Institute of Advanced Industrial Technologies (ESTIA). The competition will take place at the Digital Campus Bordeaux, the first network of Web and Multimedia Schools in France.
