After 47 months of intense activity by a consortium of 53 beneficiaries in 11 countries in Europe and nine international partners in China and Korea, the ERTICO-led H2020 project 5G-MOBIX will come to an end on 30 September this year. The consortium will hold its final event from 13 to 14 September to present the project’s results, outcomes, and lessons learnt.
The 5G-MOBIX project has developed and tested automated vehicle functionalities using 5G core technological innovations along cross-border corridors and urban trial sites under different conditions of vehicular traffic, network coverage and service demand while also considering the inherently distinct local business, legal, business and social local aspects. Now, the project is ready to showcase its achievements at the CTAG Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia in Vigo (Spain) and at the International Bridge Tui-Valença, on the border between Spain and Portugal.
The consortium is inviting everyone to come and experience static and live demonstrations from its six urban trial sites (Finland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, China and Korea) and two cross-border corridors (Greece-Turkey and Spain-Portugal) at the two-day event.
The first day of the final event will be dedicated to technical discussions and will also offer an opportunity to interact with the project’s experts on the detailed outcomes of the trials.
The second day will cater to – upon invitation only – the press and public and high-level stakeholders.
Do not miss this exciting opportunity and join the event to learn more about 5G-MOBIX results and lessons learnt.
