ecoDriver partners will participate in the HF-H Human Factors Workshop on Green Driving, which will take place on 11 January 2015 in Washington, during the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 94th Annual Meeting.
The focus of this workshop is on human factors issues of green driving such as user needs, expectations, gamification, HMI, feedback and advice strategies, compliance and acceptance of a wide range of green driving tools for different vehicle types. In this interactive workshop, attendees will be challenged to develop their preferred green driving system based on the presentations.
Participants will learn about results from ecoDriver and be encouraged to share and discuss other experiences. Rino Brouwer (TNO), Samantha Jamson (University of Leeds) and Guillaume Saint-Pierre (IFSTTAR) will focus their presentations on the importance of the driving behavior, guided by efficient haptic, visual or auditory feedback based on the experience acquired in the context of the project.
The workshop will also include two presentations by Transport Canada and University of California.
