During the last 13th ITS European Congress, the Automotive Campus in Helmond hosted the live demonstration of two use cases from the CONCORDA project.
“Truck Platooning and Highway chauffeur” and “Roadside Assisted Connected Driving” were tested on the road to show how automated vehicles benefit from roadside sensors, which provide them with earlier information about road events, to enhance the driving experience in order to increase safety, comfort for the passengers and smooth the traffic flow.
