New bus lines begin operation on Gozo (Malta)

The Maltese island of Gozo has put into operation new bus services, with hundreds of buses set to go into service over the summer.

The changes are the result of a number of meetings and consultations carried out with residents and public transport users in Malta and Gozo. 

In total some 150 buses will be introduced over the summer on both islands. Changes to routes are also being made, with some being extended or re-routed through new bus stops, and the frequency of some bus services will increase.
