The city of Inowrocław in Poland has approved a strategy for development of the city’s transport until 2020.
One of the prominent aspects of the strategy is reducing the number of cars on the city’s streets by improving the quality of public transport services and increasing the options for alternatives to car transport.
The city will do so by expanding the public transport network and reinforcing connections to the neighbouring cities of Bydgoszcz and Toruń, as well as constructing cycle paths and footpaths and adding facilities such as cycling parking.
