ERTICO – ITS Europe is working closely with ITS America and ITS Asia-Pacific to co-organise and develop the Congress Programme for the 31st ITS World Congress in Atlanta, Georgia, from 25-28 August 2025. This collaboration underscores the global nature of the event, bringing together leading experts from across regions to shape a dynamic agenda that will explore the latest developments in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Beyond the active scope of coordination between the regions, ERTICO in particular facilitates the participation of European stakeholders who aim to present their innovative solutions during the Congress.

A significant pillar of this landmark event is the Technical Programme, including special interest sessions, technical/ research sessions and strategic technology sessions. The Congress now welcomes submissions from a wide range of ITS professionals, researchers, and industry experts who are eager to share their insights, research, and solutions with a global audience.

The submission process is open until 6 December 2024, giving potential contributors ample time to prepare and submit their proposals. All submissions will undergo review by the International Programme Committee. Notifications of accepted proposals which will be integrated into the Congress Programme will be sent by 15 February 2025, allowing time to fine-tune presentations ahead of the event.

The open Call for Contribution is an opportunity for experts across industries to influence the discussions on themes such as connected and automated mobility, emerging technologies in the digitalisation of transport, sustainable and resilient mobility, innovative traffic management solutions, and digital -and physical infrastructure among many others. These topics will build up the heart of the Congress Programme, with sessions designed to foster knowledge exchange and expertise between stakeholders worldwide.
