Everybody speaks about “Smart Cities”. Everybody is connecting, building, etc…, to enter in the contest of “Who’s the best Smart City in the World?” That’s nice to see interest in smart, connected and ‘intelligent’ cities. Many of you know that I am a proponent of smart cities (see my Linkedin profile: https://lu.linkedin.com/in/sdncluxembourg).

Some questions: How to build smart cities? Should we indiscriminately build and augment cities to mega-metropolitan areas? Can we have high quality of life in such cities? Can we commute to such cities? Is it feasible and sustainable?
