Having just hosted the prestigious ITS Asia-Pacific Forum ITS New Zealand now has another reason to celebrate, with the announcement of New Zealand’s ITS Action Plan.
Ministry of Transport has just released their Intelligent Transport System Technology Action Plan 2014-18, Transport in the digital age (the Action Plan). ITS New Zealand made a significant submission to the Ministry of Transport who have spent several months developing this comprehensive plan.
The Action Plan notes that there are a number of key areas where the government has an essential role to play in the advancing the adoption of ITS technologies.
