The final four kilometres of a cross-border cycle path between Hungary and Croatia have been now been finished, completing a 90-km route running between Pécs in southern Hungary and the towns of Antunovac and Ivanovac in Croatia.
The aim of the project, realised thanks to EU funds of just over € 1 million (85 per cent of the total cost), was to boost the local economy while also protecting the surrounding environment.
