The new C-ITS Platform of the European Commission, established to bring Cooperative Systems forward, recently had its Kick-off at the European Commission premises in Brussels. As part of the C-ITS Platform, TISA appointed Andreas Schmid, Chairman of the TAWG and Thomas Kusche, TISA President.
The C-ITS Platform will address the main barriers and enablers identified for the deployment of C-ITS in the EU, in relation to the services likely to be introduced the first stage.
