The 73rd International Scientific and Technical Conference: “Automobiles in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)” organised by the Association of Automobile Engineers (AAE) together with the Technical University MADI will take place on 23 – 24 March 2011 in Moscow.
Devoted to the 80th anniversary of MADI the purpose of the conference will be to determine the prospects of an on-board “smart” automobile system for the Russian market including devices for the exchange of information between the vehicle and the infrastructure that ITS created in Russia based on the analysis of international experience and data exchange.
The conference intends to discuss the technical organisational and legal issues of application of onboard systems including:
- Information for the driver and passengers
- Gathering and transmission of information for ITS infrastructure (including the framework of ITS ERA Glonass)
- Automatic control of the automobile.
The Federal Highways Agency ITS Russia the creators of the ERA-Glonass and the developers of navigation-connected automotive equipment will be invited to the conference.
