This year, a TISA Achievement Award was handed over by TISA President Thomas Kusche to Andreas Schmid at the TISA General Assembly on 16 June. Andreas works as Product Manager at Swarco, as an expert in Integrated Traffic Management. He is currently chair of the TPEG Applications Working Group (TAWG) and has been a long-term contributor to TPEG at large.
During the award ceremony, TISA President Thomas Kusche also pointed out Andreas’ significant contributions in the field of cooperative ITS.
The TISA Achievement Award is granted to individuals with outstanding contributions to TMC or TPEG technology or to the TISA community.
