ERTICO is pleased to announce that AVERE, the European Association for Electromobility, has joined its Partnership. AVERE is the only European association representing and advocating for electromobility on behalf of the industry, academia, and EV users at both EU and national levels. Its Members consist of Companies, Research Institutions, and National Associations supporting and encouraging the use of Electric Vehicles and electromobility across Europe. It currently counts more than 55 active members, including from some of the most successful EV countries like Norway, France, The Netherlands, and Belgium.
Within these Associations, there are more than 2.600 industry members, ranging from SMEs, OEMs, and other companies with a commercial interest in electromobility and more than 150.000+ EV users. On top of advocacy, it provides its members with a unique forum for exchanging knowledge, experience, and ideas on how to stimulate electromobility throughout Europe.

The ERTICO Partnership bridges the gaps between stakeholders across the ITS community to help make mobility safer, more efficient, and sustainable. Together, we lead the digital transformation of transport through the development of cutting-edge technologies, new services and innovative mobility solutions to move people and goods in smarter ways. Our Partners share the joint mission to actively promote sustainable collaborative relations with EU institutions and policymakers by connecting local and regional transport organisations with national authorities.
AVERE can initiate, develop and implement projects as well as join consortia of leading multi-sector players — with the support and coordination of ERTICO’s in-house expertise. With ERTICO, it will maintain direct links with European institutions and ITS programmes and participation in new innovative development initiatives. AVERE believes with its cooperation the two organisations will stay ahead of new developments and anticipate key market trends. Separately AVERE will actively participate in ERTICO-organized European and worldwide events to promote AVERE’s members interests. ERTICO will also promote AVERE’s events and members in their projects.

Joining the ERTICO Partnership is an important way to connect the dots between different sectors across our complex ecosystem. The Partnership enables close collaboration between stakeholders by coordinating the planning and deployment of intelligent transport systems and smart mobility solutions in Europe and beyond.
