The second call of the CIVITAS Initiative was published on 17 June in the Official Journal C141/10 of 17/06/03. The 50 million euro budget CIVITAS II will support around 8 projects in the field of urban transport that integrate technological and policy measures. The projects should address both the objectives of Thematic Priorities 1.6.1 (Sustainable Energy Systems) and 1.6.2 (Sustainable Surface Transport) of the FP6.
