On 21 May, Nottingham County Council in the UK launched a series of road shows outlining their plans for passenger transport services in the future.
The “Titan Road Show” will tour the region as part of a major consultation held between last July and September, which asked residents across the county for their views on how transport services in Nottinghamshire should operate in the future.
According to the County Council, they spend over £30m per year on transport services, and they hope that so Re-organising and making services more efficient across the whole county area will reduce this amount by £2m, whilst still retaining services that are important to local people.
Further information about the consultation and a list of the roadshow dates are available on their website: http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/thecouncil/democracy/have-your-say/consultations/titan/
