The EU funded project SOLUTIONSplus has opened a first call for contributions: the project is looking for European companies and innovators to collaborate with and support mobility start-ups in Asia, Africa and Latin America through SOLUTIONSplus “Start-up Incubators”.
In line with SOLUTIONSplus’ goals to enable transformational change towards sustainable urban mobility through innovative and integrated electric mobility solutions, €150,000 has been allocated to this first call. The call aims to integrate European technologies and expertise into the project’s demonstration actions, and accepts proposals related to the provision of:
- Powertrains and controllers for electric two-wheelers (e-bikes) for contracts (up to €25,000 each);
- Support on the development of electric three-wheelers, including homologation and design (up to €15,000 each);
- Batteries for electric two- and three-wheelers (up to €25,000 each);
- E-Bus-conversion advice, knowledge transfer, training and development support (€15,000 each).
Interested start-ups, SMEs and industries can submit their proposal till 7 September 2021 in electronic format using this application form (download).
Participation in the call is open to start-ups, SMEs and industries established in the European Union’s Member States, including the outermost regions. Companies based in the UK are eligible under the conditions set by the EC for H2020 participation at the time of the deadline of the call.
