18th European Week of Regions and Cities

October 21 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

As the electrification in transport is taking off in the cities and regions, we need to facilitate this development with a sustainable and long-term vision. The success of the e-mobility depends on multiple factors, including the generation and provision of clean energy, wider user-acceptance and large-scale deployment of green transport. The session will aim at placing these factors into broader urban and peri-urban perspectives and present the solutions adopted in the EU-funded initiatives. It will showcase concrete cases and examples on how to overcome the common challenge in the electrification of urban transport through cooperation and networking of the European cities and regions.
