With about a month to go before applications close on 30th November, there is still time to apply for the the European Startup Prize for mobility (EUSP). The initiative intends to support European startups in developing innovations in sustainable mobility and to reveal the best one amongst them. The EUSP’s 4th edition was launched on September 30th in Tallinn in the presence of its co-founders and partners, including ERTICO.
As one of the event’s eco-system partners, ERTICO has been an active supporter of the EUSP ever since it came into being as an acceleration and investment programme to support and scale up smart and sustainable mobility startups. ERTICO has its own startup initiative to offer guidance to startups in their journey to scale up by allowing them to connect with the European ITS industry stakeholders, co-creators, and partners in many ERTICO led European projects. ERTICO Startup Initiative co-hosted the Startup Village of the 27th ITS World Congress in Hamburg which resulted in the largest startup village in the ITS World Congress history and ERTICO Startup Initiative’s motto Connect, Innovate, Grow was prominent during the 3-day long schedule full of activities for startups.
The EUSP Programme, founded on public-private collaboration involving EU institutions, mobility corporations, and tech giants, provides an investment and acceleration opportunity to 10 finalists in order to help them scale up in Europe along with 10 special prizes rewarding in total 2o startups. The applications will remain open until November 30th 2021. Any startup working on innovative and sustainable mobility solutions and is based and/or operates in a European country* (Europe at large, see the eligibility map) can apply.
