  • Route Matching and GPS Data Accuracy: With HERE’s sophisticated route-matching technology, GPS data points from vehicles using Astara Connect are aligned with the most likely driven route, even in challenging environments such as tunnels, under heavy vegetation or in poor weather conditions. This enables high-quality, reliable trip trajectories, providing businesses with more accurate data for planning and reporting.
  • Reverse Geocoding for Precision Trip Records: HERE’s reverse geocoding service further enhances the accuracy of trip records within Astara Connect. By converting raw geo-coordinates into specific addresses or nearby points of interest, Astara Connect is able to precisely determine the start and end points of trips. This improves reporting capabilities, giving businesses access to more detailed insights into their fleet or mobility operations.
  • Road Type Classification: With HERE’s road type classification, Astara Connect can distinguish between urban and interurban roads, allowing for context-sensitive driving condition assessments.
