ERTICO recently concluded a series of three cross-sector meetings that brought together representatives from diverse sectors within its Partnership, including research, connectivity industry, service providers, vehicle manufacturers, traffic and transport, suppliers, public authorities, and users. These meetings serve as an important forum for fostering collaborative dialogues and knowledge exchanges, aiming to inspire integrated and forward-thinking approaches while identifying synergies to drive innovation and sustainable mobility in the evolving field of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
The cross-sector meetings have solidified their reputation as a cornerstone of collaboration within the ERTICO Partnership, creating an environment conducive to innovation and cross-sectoral integration. As a leader in the ITS ecosystem, ERTICO continues to play a unique role in steering the development of a connected and sustainable mobility future through holistic and inclusive approaches. By encouraging and enabling knowledge exchange, ERTICO accelerates the development of intelligent, inclusive, and interconnected mobility solutions in collaboration with its Partners. This cross-sectoral approach aligns with the Partnership’s commitment to addressing shared challenges collectively, contributing to the advancement of safer, more efficient, and environmentally conscious transportation systems.

The 2024 meetings featured significant contributions from representatives of the European Commission, including DG RTD, DG MOVE, and DG CNECT. Their insights added depth to the discussions, aligning regulatory frameworks with industry advancements and fostering collaboration across sectors to unlock the potential of data-driven mobility innovations.
Dedicated Breakout Sessions
Interactive breakout sessions provided Partners with a dynamic platform to exchange ideas, identify barriers, explore opportunities, and discuss enablers with a particular focus. These sessions allowed stakeholders to collaboratively explore challenges and innovative solutions, leveraging their collective expertise to advance smart mobility systems.
