Do you know which ITS systems and services you should invest in to achieve your priority policy goals? Or how much CO2 saving can be achieved with a specific type of ITS? Do you know who are the suppliers of the most effective ITS solutions? Do you know which are the latest trends in ITS, and where you can see them deployed? If you said “no” to at least one of the questions, the European ITS Observatory is made for decision-makers like you!

Intelligent mobility technologies have been around since more than 20 years, but evidence of their effectiveness and benefits is still insufficient to be certain that they will meet your needs. As a result, many deployment projects “reinvent the ITS wheel” instead of re-using proven solutions.

The ITS Observatory project coordinated by ERTICO aims to bridge this knowledge deficit through its innovative software tools for gathering, processing and delivering insights for ITS stakeholders.

To launch the project and start shaping the Observatory to meet its users’ needs, a brainstorming workshop takes place on 17th June in Brussels, the day after the ERTICO ITS Conference and General Assembly. We want to hear from you – as user or provider of ITS systems and services – about your wishes and requirements for the content, features and usability of this first-of-its-kind Observatory.

The Observatory software will be designed around “user stories” from people who can tell about the lessons learned, benefits achieved and – yes – what went wrong or didn’t meet expectations in real-life ITS implementations. If you may be investing in ITS in the near future, we want to hear what kind of information or assessment results you want to find in the Observatory.

If you wsih to attend our workshop, please register here.
