In January 2020 ERTICO ITS-Europe will organise a Partner delegation of to Silicon Valley and to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Meetings with leading organisations from the ITS industry will be organised, tailored to the interest of the delegates. This is a unique opportunity to meet with leading companies and innovators in the American ITS industry, to experience ongoing innovative ITS products and to generate opportunities for cooperative actions.

Silicon Valley is home to many of the world’s largest high-tech corporations, including the headquarters of more than 30 businesses in the Fortune 1000, and thousands of startup companies. Silicon Valley also accounts for one-third of all of the venture capital investment in the United States, which has helped it to become a leading hub and startup ecosystem for high-tech innovation and scientific development. Flying in to San Francisco, the ERTICO delegation will have the opportunity to meet with market leaders and relevant start-ups. Meetings are being organised in cooperation with local partners, and will be tailored to suit the interests of the delegates.

The ERTICO delegation will then travel to the CES, for a tailored high level tour of the ITS applications on show, including meetings with relevant ITS industry representatives. The CES is the world’s most important trade show of new products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry. Held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center the event will host presentations of a range of ITS applications, including the ‘latest and greatest’ in self-driving vehicles, concept cars and connected vehicles.

This delegation will take place 6-10 January 2020.
