The town of Landskrona in Sweden is to install 38 new chargers for electric vehicles in residential areas, public places and municipal sites.

The county of Skåne is investing 870 000 Swedish krona (€90 000) in the initiative from the state’s climate programme – a sum that is being matched by Landskrona.

Landskrona will install 10 EV charging stations for public use at a nearby ferry terminal and the main train station.

Three additional rapid-charging stations will be installed for the public near shops and a number of commuter parking lots.
