The 13th edition of the ITS European Congress ended last Thursday, after four intense days in Brainport, Eindhoven.

ENSEMBLE was glad to take part at the inspiring set of activities proposed at the Evoluon and the Automotive Campus in Helmond.

The project booth at the ERTICO stand was visited by partners, stakeholders and interested members of the ITS community, who followed the general project presentation and learnt more through the project animated video.

Moreover, at the Automotive Campus in Helmond, Mrs. Marika Hoedemaeker (TNO, project coordinator) chaired the presentation of the project to the mayor of Helmond, Elly Blanksma-van den Heuvel, and the European Mayor delegation from other cities, such us Lisbon and Eindhoven.

The ENSEMBLE booth at the Automotive Campus was also visited by a delegation from Singapore, the organiser of the upcoming ITS World Congress 2019, and by a VIP tour with the CEOs of several Dutch companies.

Three other visit tours for the general ITS public were run, with an average attendance of 20 people per tour.

ENSEMBLE was also presented to the audience during a stand presentation by Frank Daems, project coordinator from ERTICO, who mentioned the importance of the project for the Vision2020 and the future goals for truck platooning.

The Congress was the best moment to launch the Platooning Quiz: visitors were challenged with a few questions about ENSEMBLE, the partners and the core idea. Want to give it a try?
