After joining the ERTICO Partnership only a few months ago, PARIFEX had the opportunity to represent its mission in the exhibition hall at the Virtual ITS Congress. PARIFEX’s team, a company that is a market leader on Engineering and Speed Control System design, shares impressions on the Virtual ITS Congress.
PARIFEX delegates were looking forward to this first-of-a-kind event and were thrilled to share this time with the organization, exhibitors, speakers, and visitors. It was interesting to be able to talk with other Partners about common needs, questions and projects. The show brought together many professionals and experts from the transport and mobility industry who are working hard at enhancing urban mobility. They joined the Congress to highlight their thoughts, studies, surveys, debates, technologies and solutions in building the mobility revolution. The Virtual ITS Congress allowed PARIFEX to discuss with other ERTICO Partners about possible future collaboration and how to build a better world for a shared future.
‘I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the platform which facilitated exchanges with participants and displayed an outstanding design and high-end conferences with interesting speakers, ‘explains Nathalie Deguen, PARIFEX Sales Manager. ‘All this compensates for the disappointment that the show could not be held face-to-face. Even though the health crisis prevents us from organizing great shows dedicated to the mobility industry across the world, the Virtual ITS European Congress has been a new way to finally meet.’
In focus in the programme and the high level sessions were urban mobility and sustainable transport. The health crisis has strengthened the belief of local authorities that sustainable cities are the future. This transformation is necessary to offer people a better quality of life and a safer environment. Although the current global situation completely upsets everybody’s trips and habits, users need improved mobility solutions including new means of transport to enable faster journeys. Municipalities are aware that this current revolution of mobility is the first step towards everyday life made easy.
To implement a complete intelligent mobility network, professionals agreed on the necessity to rely on solutions providing efficient travel and protection for users.
